Zoi Romanchuk has more than two decades experience in translations/interpretation, international business and management. She was a supervisor and interpreter for Hughes Technical Services Company. There, she served as a U.S. diplomat for the former Soviet Union working as the senior interpreter for the U.S. and Soviet delegations for arms control negotiations in support of the Intermediate-Range Nuclear Forces (INF) Treaty. She was also responsible for translation and interpretation for the installation and operation of the U.S. Portal Monitoring Facility in Udmurtia, Russia, and the management of the translation staff.Zoi earned her bachelor’s and master’s degrees in Slavic languages and literature at UCLA. Mark Romanchuk has over 23 years experience in systems engineering and management. He was a supervisor and engineer for Hughes Aircraft Company for eight years. There, he was a supervisor and U.S. Diplomat to the former Soviet Union in support of the Intermediate-Range Nuclear Forces (IMF) Treaty. He was responsible for the installation, startup and operation of the first and only permanent U.S. Portal Monitoring Facility located in Udmurtia, Russia.Prior to his assignment in Russia, he was team leader and technical advisor to the U.S. Navy in support of F/A-18 aircraft. Ken Earhart has over 18 years experience in fabrication, engineering and management. He was a project engineer/manager for several mechanical contractors for over seven years. He was responsible for design, estimation, fabrication, installation and startup of large mechanical systems. Ken has also worked as a manufacturer’s representative at IWI, Inc., for six years. During that time he performed sales, engineering and management duties for material handling, conveyor systems, overhead cranes/hoists, and industrial ventilation systems.Most recently, Ken worked four years at a conveyor manufacturer as a Sales Engineer. Mike Wilgus joined Slick Automated Solutions as a Project Manager in March 2008. Mike came to SAS with eight years experience in the materials handling and automated equipment industry, and is involved with projects from “cradle to grave” including initial quotations, layout designs and approvals, equipment design, and installation. Mike has successfully completed projects for the automotive, appliance, and construction industries to name a few.Previously, he worked for 12 years in the Ironworking industry including rigging, welding, fabricating, and equipment repair. In addition to many professional courses, Mike graduated from Northmor High School in Galion, Ohio and attended North Central Technical College in Mansfield, Ohio. Jeff Blanchard has over 14 years experience in the design, engineering and project management of mechanical systems. Mike Geddes joined Slick Automated Solutions as a Controls Engineer in September 2009. Mike brings to SAS more than eighteen years experience in the industrial controls and automation environment. Prior to that he worked as an industrial electrician for twelve years. Mike’s duties at SAS include preparing proposals, managing the controls portion of projects, integrating control schemes into our mechanical designs, control system and power distribution design, software development, equipment installation supervision, and system/software commissioning.Mike has a wide array of experience with programmable logic controllers (PLCs), programmable automation controllers (PACs), human-machine interface (HMI), servo motion control, robotics, and supervisory control and data acquisition systems (SCADA). Mike has successfully completed numerous projects for the automotive, appliance, steel tube and material handling industries to name a few.
